Moderco Inc., based in the Montreal region, is the largest Canadian operable wall manufacturer. Moderco's products are used in convention centers, hotels, schools and office t owers among many other places.

Moderco's adventure started in 1980. At that time, Moderco was the Canadian licensee for an existing major US manufacturer of operable walls and accordion doors. Promotional and bid activities were limited to Canada, which Moderco dominated through a network of 12 installing distributors and their Vancouver assembly plant.

In 1992, Moderco became independent of its US licenser and started the establishment of an international network of distributors.   Since then, Moderco has proved to have its place among the biggest in the industry.   Moderco's constant progression of the last years allowed growth from 18 employees in 1992, up to more than 90 employees in 2000.   Furthermore , the manufacturing facility has gone from 24,000 sq. ft. to more than 46,000.   Now, Moderco can count on Steel Products, Inc. as one of more than 115 distributors around the world to better serve you.
